Program Types:

There are several programs within the academy.   All programs are geared towards developing a pipeline of Software and IT professionals in the Caribbean.  The program ranges from remediation to the bootcamp level where candidates are expected to develop skills and demonstrate their proficiency levels in order to be placed with an employer.   Candidates will be tested upon entry into the programs to develop a proficiency profile. An individualized curriculum will be designed for each candidate to help him/her reach the to the required level based on the required skills for a specific job or job category.  The program is designed to be hands-on and skills based as per employer requirements, therefore, candidates will be expected to meet proficiency with the support of our professional staff.

Program Goals:

3. Ability to communicate effectively to an audience
4. Develop Interviewing skills
5. Ability to work within all phases of the software development lifecycle
6. Independent software developers
7. Develop domain knowledge before placement
8. Subject matter experts in specific domains
9. Ability to function effectively within a corporate environment

Levels of Proficiency:

Level 1:  Basic 

Level 2:  Intermediate

Level 3:  Professional 

Level 4:  Domain Master

Level 5:  Subject Matter Expert 

In order to develop with us and to become CCA certified or be considered for job placement, a candidate must achieve a competency Level 3 – Professional.
